Explore the magical, healing world of color with Janet Krig.
Using plants, wildflowers, nuts,berries, roots, and vegetables from the garden, students will learn how to coax vibrant, organic, lasting, harmonious colors from Mother Nature. Adorn your garments or other 
natural textiles with the colors of the rainbow and chakras.
Traditional techniques covered include shibori, kuzaki-zome and hapa-zome (i.e., tie-dye, grass and leaf-dyeing and plant pounding) to achieve sophistated designs on silk or wool.
